I can't paint, use a can opener, I can only write a sentence before it starts to get painful. I can't remember my first aha moment. I was hospitalized because my labs were so bad and my primary freaked out. so I found out that way. I have raynauds and sjogrens because of it

Cutting up food, opening jars, basically using my hands lol. Walking up and down my basement stairs. I thought oh I’m just getting older. Nope lupus diagnosis here lol

I do the same thing! I thought it was normal too! If I’m sitting on my foot even for a short time and go to stand up my ankle will be stiff and stuck in that bent position. Extremely painful. Anyone else? My husband doesn’t have this.

Yes! I can’t cut up fresh watermelon, pineapple, or cantaloupe anymore. My husband has to do it for me because my hand, wrist, shoulder will lock up and I’ll be sore for days!! Horrible😭

Yes! Holding something for a long time, and my hand won’t open. Joints and muscles get stuck in a position. 😳

Girl this happens to my legs when I work out! I tried Pilates and I literally could not walk because I couldn’t balance. My legs are heavy and it’s like they forget how to work . This makes so much sense .

My hand gets stuck on the paintbrush and I have to use my other hand to get my fingers to release. Then I have to massage my hand in order to get feeling back. It also causes a lot of swelling and redness. Yours look red too. I hope you get your project finished.

my hands let go of everything! not formally diagnosed lupus but I have all the symptoms. I do struggle holding things and my hands hurt after. I chucked it up to getting older!

I was on a floaty in the pool today and my arms starting shaking so bad … I bet muscle weakness and shaking as well

I’ve fractured/broken my feet combined 6 times. Both feet this year in a 6 month span. Apparently this is normal. I’m over the broken feet.

Hi! Sometimes It’s hard only to brush my hair. But we got this. The most difficult part of lupus is when no all family members understand. We are very brave. 💜🦋

Yep! My right wrist is so weak, hands are weak. I will go to pick something up, like the remote.. and end up throwing it somehow.
