As the direct friend…..I’m learning to protect myself by being more mindful of who I allow around me. I avoid the passive docile type at all costs! They will resent you bc you’re not afraid to use your voice or use you for your loyalty

Dear God. All of this. A docile friend will NEVER have your back. You fight their battles and they will join forces with the very people who hate you. As a mature woman, I know to stay far away from unhappy, unhealed, jealous, or docile women. A good example of this woman is Cynthia Bailey.

😮💨Issa FACT!!!! LISSEN as the direct friend it took me over TWENTY FIVE YEARS to wake up and remove myself from a friendship that was near and dear to me and draining the LIFE out of me. I was always the dumping ground until I realized she really didn’t want to heal she just wanted to wear me out with the constant drama of her life. The friendship was most definitely unrequited.
