i think because she was really afraid of Teddy, because he told her he’ll kill her if she leaves him. Maybe she’s afraid of being beat up by him or being 🍇ed and for that she always choose him. For me, thats it, i don’t hate her because i understand how she feel, but in how she treat Joey after he does everything he could do she is not right. BUT, she will be in that way for the fear, because she see Teddy in Joey and she’s afraid of TEDDY, NOT of Joey. In other aspect, for Shannon yeah she was really protective because Marie was scared for her, but not for the weigh she gave on Shannon back, or for not taking care of the Lynch siblings. But i lead thats all on the fear and shock. I CANT HATE HER, and if im not right thats my though😩🙏🏻
