I know nobody will read my comment or even care, but I really needed to see this video. My ex partner took advantage of me in ways that I’m scared to even share, and he treated me to the point where I’m tempted to go celibate to avoid being wronged in such a way again. The worst thing is, he wasn’t the first to treat me this way. I loved him, but his care for me was performative, and that made me believe that any sort of care my way is simply for a heightened reputation. This made me remember that it’s not like that, and the right people will love you the right way. Thank you for posting this. This is a great lesson for me and a lot of people.

Were not together anymore but i dont hate him, i am bitter about it still but atleast i know we had some moments together back then, i was lucky enough to love him then. i still keep the ring he made me as a reminder of a genuine time when i did love the man i saw everything in. He may be outta my life forever but just shows things happens and this sorta love can find me :]

i pushed my soulmate away 5 years ago, spiraled, ended up in a not so great relationship for 3 years… 3 months after my break up, we find each other again. i feel the same way i felt 5 years ago, im just not scared to love and be loved this time. i mean, i am… but i want real love surrounding me. i’m not going to push away what im craving so much. i’m so upset i pushed him away all those years ago, but everything happens for a reason. i’m just glad we get to continue our relationship & grow together 🥹💕. he’s my best friend/my other half. i didn’t normally believe that you’re destined for one specific person, until we reconnected 😌🤷🏻♀️🩵

People who have actually fell out of a relationship on good terms. What does it feel like? When the sadness goes away does the love also dissappear? My biggest fear is walking past a loved one and knowing ill never be able to be as close as I was to them again. How do you cope or be grateful for such a big loss?

It already being a couple months since the breakup, but something that I've realized its that during that grief we something center to much of how the relationship started or ended, overlooking how relationship shape us, and even tho I felt unfair how much love I poured in that relationship and I was discarded I will be eternally grateful to her, because even tho was painful I became more human, at the end of the day we like a gallery of people we love, full of painting who makes who we are. who has shape us.
