@the.heathergoff: I’d take her place if I could, in a HEARTBEAT! 💔 They’ve happened a few times over the past 6 months or so. This past time she busted her lip. Before this last time it was a few months since it happened. We copped it up before to over exerting herself during Volleyball season. There was no other possible reason this time. I’m afraid she may hurt herself worse if it happens again. She’s not the best at explaining what happens when she falls… she says ‘I just fell”, so the doctor just looked at me and said, “I don’t even know which direction to go, neurological, cardiovascular, etc.” We left with a referral for bloodwork, her first time ever having blood drawn from her arm, and we’re now waiting on a call about a scan. What broke me was her asking, “Can they just test my blood for Huntington’s already?” And I had to explain… it’s not that simple. 😔 Hoping with everything that I have these falls have a simple, easy explanation. That we can get back to normal soon. I’m holding it together for her, but I’m scared too.
