I’ll be honest , whether something is a man or a woman’s job. It’s important for you to both learn how to do each other stuff in case the other person is unable one day. I’m a military spouse and I’ve had to take the slack on his end and he also picks up some of my stuff when he can too. It’s important to be well rounded.

I do the cooking, mow the lawn and take out the trash in our house (so does my hubby) We don’t classify things as guy or girl jobs it’s 50/50

These comments think she has to cook every night. Ugh did your parents drop you on your head! There will be nights or days he takes her out to eat or the call in food. Like come on people! Y’all read too much into how he explains stuff. Leave them alone! If he was controlling do you think she’d go shopping like she does when he’s at work!? Nope. And another thing. So what if she’s quiet. My husband is quiet and you would think I run our house. Lord no. My husband runs our house lol he just doesn’t talk much.

Why do people get so pressed about that? It’s the same in our house. My husband is a great provider and I take care of the home. We respect each others roles. It isn’t condescending. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t help me or I don’t help him but we have our primary roles. It’s offensive when people act like that’s wrong

He says “exactly how he wants it” it suits him for her to depend on him, he controls the narrative, he decides what happens tyen she has no independence, no job no money apart from what he controls, fully financially dependent on him , should they split he’d be no different, yet she’d have nothing
