When I worked at a hardware store we CONSTANTLY had to do price checks for like PENNIES because they were such penny pinchers... I just wanted to say give it to them because the amount of time spent fighting with a customer is not worth the pennies the company wants to save. My coworkers genuinely did not agree or get it. 😒 Billion dollar company BTW could have given a ish less if we lost 5 bucks on OUR mistake.

Meh, Im choosing to wear the label Karen like a badge of honor from this point forward since it's been appropriated from it's actual meaning and regularly gets misused/misapplied. Today some actual Karen at the food bank tried to give me moldy corn on the cob as my vegetable choice and when I said no thank you, I'll pass on the vegetable she got all huffy and grabbed another one that wasnt moldy and was like "Is that good enough for you?" Umm, yes thank you I just didn't want moldy food and was willing to go without entirely. To which she said "I'm not going to argue". Like tf? I didn't argue, I made a statement. Next time I'm pulling up the definition of arguing and reading it at full volume, like I wanted to in the moment because yes, the gaslighting is bs. Good for you for standing up for the advertised price which yes, they are obligated to honor.
