before the food freedom/fear mongering police comes for me - I’m talking about the foods I like to keep in my pantry, that both satisfy my cravings and make me feel energized 🤍⚡️ the reason I like to avoid refined sugar in my day to day is because I know that I am inevitably going to eat refined sugar on the weekends - impromptu ice cream trips, cake at a birthday party, alcohol, or the cracker jacks I had at the game last night 💁🏻♀️ so doing my best to avoid it when I am home (where I consume/prep most of my meals) is helpful to minimize my overall refined sugar consumption. I used to buy SO many granolas, cereals, “protein” bars, and I’ll name just a few of the many “healthy” brands - Kashi, Kind Bar, Cliff Bar, Kellogs, Smart Start, Nature Valley, Odwala, Naked Juice, among many others I feel like there is a lot of confusion around sugar vs refined sugar so I hope this helps differentiate between the two 🤍 remember there is nothing wrong with having refined sugar from time to time but start noticing how foods make you feel after/sustain your energy, you might pick them a little differently :) code CASEY to shop Coco Almond Bliss granola now 🥣 #healthy #healthytips #awholelottahealth
