Oh trust me, turning the prickly pear into ice cream is a perfect idea to represent AZ, and I should know, I’m from Tucson, Arizona, especially during the summer, when the temperature can rise up to 100° F and higher

I'm from Texas, and there are prickly pear cacti everywhere near my work. I actually harvested some fruits last week and made ice cream with them. I didn't even know that was a thing, but it's delicious! I also love a good prickly pear margarita 😅
