Being raised around Jewish parenting, kids are encouraged to “negotiate” with their parents, question and even suggest better options, it’s to exercise being your own individual self, therefore when you’re in the world you will always pave a way out for yourself rather than being stuck in a cycle that’s man made. The kids who weren’t raised to negotiate tend to be more insecure adults in power dynamics/ work.
