Honestly, I don’t understand love anymore. As a girl who gives everything when in love, these real talks about men make me lose hope in love. Why does love have to be so risky, complicated, and confusing? Don’t we love simply because we love? Why does it have to be like this?

People walk away depending on their maturity. It doesn’t matter if you’re the most convenient or not. Sometimes they leave just because they’re not grown enough to handle what they thought they wanted. It’s not about the kind of woman/man you are. It’s about where they are in life. As long as you showed up with love, honesty, and good intentions, don’t ever second guess your worth because of how they chose to leave.

Personally, I believe this kind of belief system is necessary. specially when di mo alam pa'no mag move on from a guy. and if the guy really loves you, I could tell you right here right now that's exactly what he'd want you to think so you'd no longer need to think back of him and hurt yourself even more. as a guy, we'd rather have the girl we love to hate us, resent us, and dump to us all the blame there is in the world, than to know that every night she'd cry herself to sleep after blaming herself for things that she was never meant to bare and carry alone. things that she was never meant to blame herself for, things that are slowly becoming unhealthy for the relationship, and both parties themselves. And here's for the ladies out there who truly knew they were loved, and have loved the person who chose to pick the blame. it wasn't about who hurt who, or who was in the wrong and who's in the right, it was about letting eachother be free. and the pain? it was the price to pay, and all in all —let it heal then everything will be worth it.

I couldn't agree more. That's why, when they leave, you have to move forward right away also. No questions, no what-ifs. But ofc, you have to grieve as part of the process, but do it the right way and do not take it too long. Not worth it.
