I was pulled over literally a few weeks ago and before the cop could get to my car my whole arm (w/ my license in hand) was sticking straight out the window… as he walk up I kept waving my license… he got to car and 😂said, “you ready ain’tcha” … I said yep. 😁 … plot twist, as he was laughing he said he’s NOT giving me a ticket he just wanted to explain whatever he thought he saw … and peacefully let me go … 😁… moral of the story: fun and kindness is contagious too … it took all of 10 minutes

That signature only states you receive the citation. If people would read it… it clearly states that. You don’t get a right to a lawyer until you are arrested. You don’t have to talk, but give that cop your DL, insurance and registration.

this is crazy work! 😩 im a white woman in the south and Ive been cussed like a dog by a cop in my driveway 😩 and he didnt even give me a ticket. Just told me I drive like 💩 😭 what did I do you ask?? I said yes sir I do 😂 im sorry 😂😂😂😭

We are required to show ID if the police ask for it. Supreme Court ruled that. Some need to update their knowledge of laws.

you are actually required to hand over your ID. when you drive you have agreed to implied consent which is following traffic laws and providing identification to the officer. you are also required to sign a ticket. its not admitting fault its your acknowledgement of receiving the ticket and promise to show up to court.
