Imogen Heap really has had no negative demonic references in her music. Her style is very different and filled with meaning. She was commissioned to make the song by a children’s company and did so happily as she is a mother. Be careful with labeling things we don’t understand as demonic. There is plenty to call out in pop, this isn’t one of them.

I, along with most Christians do not think secular music is the devil. We enjoy good music just like anyone. But, when an artist chooses to mock God and openly does it… we won’t be listening to them. Everyone has to right to choose what they listen to. This is just my opinion and this video ended up on a side of tik tok that will never understand that. There’s no room for hate here… so please scroll on if you have nothing good to say.

I’m going to respectfully disagree ❤️not saying that your conviction is wrong, but just for the moms who have never felt convicted about this song - I do not feel like it’s evil in the slightest. It has lots of sounds effects (lion’s roar, airplane flying, train whistle, etc) that distract babies. The lyrics are just describing random things (a choo choo train, a baby who doesn’t want to go to sleep) and about having the best day with your baby no matter where you are. I’ve never thought it was weird or off or anything of the sort. And while I agree it’s important to know who is the artist behind the music you’re listening to, I don’t write a song off just because of rhe artist. I have loved Newsboys songs for YEARS and am still brought to tears in worship through some of them. Even though Michael Tate has committed atrocities that are wholly un-Christlike, the music he performed is still beautiful and (for the most part) scripturally sound. Again, if you are feeling convicted about the Happy Song you are absolutely right to abstain from listening to it!!❤️❤️❤️I’m just saying this for the mamas who have never felt convicted listening to it, just food for thought🤍

While I agree that Imogean Heap isn’t children’s music, because they’re adults the same way I wouldn’t play the car radio for small kids, doesn’t mean that it’s “demonic”. Many musical artists also bring visual art into their persona… just because someone looks different or wears something on their face doesn’t mean it’s evil. It’s like when all the preppy kids would bully the “weird” kids because they were different.

does this mean you will stop taking your child to church because most religous institutions protect child sa'ers. i mean if you are going to keep your child away from something that looks demonic to you, its only reasonable to assume that you keep your child away from indtitutions, places and people that have been proven to go against gods doctrines
