It should be double the money. Taking damage while they’re gassed, with small gloves. You can’t defend yourself effectively when you’re tired. And takedowns lead to ground and pound. The ufc is abusing these fighters. Not long ago they were paying 4k to show to undercard fighters. 4 k is not even enough for a month of an athlete that needs premium nutrition.

Not gonna lie low payment is kind of saving the sport in terms of hunger to fight to get that check meanwhile see the downfall of boxing or a 4 years off for Conor which wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t that rich. However, fighters should be gettin paid way more than other sports since they have max 4 fights a year despite the fractures and pains they have to go through.. so yeah it’s complicated there should be a solution to save the sport and to satisfy the fighters.
