you might have been spot on, considering 1156 spoilers rocks needed two devil fruits to beat mariejois, one being from elbaph. very likely that at least one of them was the yami yami. and the other possibly being the "gomu gomu"

is Monkey D Dragon's flight ability Haki or is it a devil fruit ability because it seems to be used by multiple RA member's so it might be haki but it might also be Dragon bestowing a power onto someone like Imu? they might have both gained that ability in the abyss

this video reminded of the theory that black beard's fruit is connected to one of the gods worshiped in skypea (just like luffy's), and after watching this tiktok i might have figured out which god is "trapped" in the yami yami no mi (or i just went mad, and yes, im going to use your theory as a base) My theory is that the yami yami no mi is the fruit of the sea god, Yonka I'll show how i came in conclusion that yonka is the god of sea and then i talk about black beard. firstly, why sea god? since there wasnt any sea god worshiped in skypea. that has to do with the tiny mermaidians in fish men island, we already they're named after the gods, because there's 4 different names and one of them was revealed to be the sun god's name, but there's a name that appears twice, which is Yonka, that is because he was split in two different beings during the void century. and to explainig this i need to talk about an interesting parallel that you can found even in real life, the sea/sky parallel. To start this comparison we can say that they are both blue and when the sun isnt around they become darker, or that one is in the ground while the other isnt, but there's two characteristics that are really important in this parallel. the first being that in the sea, the deeper you go, the darker it becomes, and in the sky it becomes brighter, the second one being that both of them are part of the water natural cycle and not just that, they both got the 3 states of water (and yes, there's ice on clouds, thats how lightnings are made), this means that they both connected by two process of water's cycle, rain and evaporation (which you could say is just reverse rain), meaning that Yonka was the god of rain untill he was split in two during the void century. Now, to explain why he was split, we need to talk about black beard's purpose, goals, parallels and general meaning to the story of One Piece. Black beard wants to become king of the world, just like rocks, and he's likely to be the main antagonist of the main plot (finding the one piece) and at this part the parallels of black beard show up, the first one is the most obvious, teach/imu (im going to call him teach from now on)+

i think all devil fruit users’ souls when killed are trapped within the abyss, and similar to impel down, blackbeard will cause a prision break, saving davy jones and attacking imu from the abyss while luffy attacks imu from the real world
