That little girl is still in me. Today was one of the hardest days yet… we had to place him in a care facility as his dementia has progressed. Watching someone so strong, so full of life and pride, slowly lose pieces of himself is heartbreaking. But even in the confusion, even in the struggle, his spirit still shows up—loud, honest, and real. This moment right here is a reminder that he’s still him in all the ways that matter.
