@animalwelfareguy: A family member called me saying she found a baby squirrel that had fallen out of a tree in her yard. There was no nest in sight and it was over 100° outside. We think he is about 1-2 weeks and will try to raise him until he can be released. We are trying to keep expectations low because he did hit his head pretty hard when he fell. Comment below with name suggestions, we are going with “Lump” for now! #animalwelfare #animalrescue #squirrel

We found a baby squirrel a few years ago. Nobody would take him, so we raised him until we could let him go. My daughter named him Randy. Now, any time there's a squirrel in the road we yell "Get out of the road Randy!!" 😆
