I had tried Wegovy and Saxenda in the past without luck (and with lots of issues). My first appeal was denied. I am going to appeal again and then appeal to my state’s impartial appeal board. I am also asking my prescriber to try a PA for Monjaro in the meantime since I have seen others have luck with that even without diabetes. Good luck!

I was able to get approval (approval switched to Mounjaro) so have many coworkers.

I’m going to venture to say your doctor did something wrong on the PA. If you have failed Wegovy you should get approval. Check @BourbonRX for the info. You might need to use a telehealth that’s good at approvals.

y'all definitely gotta watch it. just had someone who was audited. had an approved PA and was audited and stopped their coverage for zepbound. due to "clinical inaccuracies"
