I worked at Wendy's for 6 years from 1998-2004... and we used to have customer service skills. "Thank you for choosing Wendy's, what can I get started for you today?" was the STANDARD drive-thru greeting. Not today.. it's someone sounding annoying says "Uh, yeah. can I, uh, get you something?" AND the grilled chicken is gone, the small side salads are gone, the 5 pc nugget is now 4 pc... and they are doing gimmicky things ..... bring back the pitas from the late 90s, and the old fries were far superior... bring back the OG customer service. Wendy's used to be held to a higher standard.. not anymore.

I think this has been happening slowly over time. In the 2000s I worked at McDs and they would clear off the order off the screen as soon as it was ordered so their times were good either for McDs or the owner im not sure. The person had seconds to remember the entire order

There is a What a burger near me. They are NOT fast food. Because everything is cooked as you order. So you do wait 5-7 mins but it is really good. Good CS also. Local CFA eliminated their playground so I don’t take my grandkids there anymore, ergo I don’t go there. They don’t care, line around the block.

I go to Chic-fil-A and Culver’s because of great customer service/ friendly employees. Anywhere else and the employees make me feel like I’m inconveniencing them. Also overpriced and poor quality.

the burgers are getting smaller & prices are ridiculous. They don't offer the 5 for 5 anymore either. Burgers are smaller & buns are bigger trying to fool you.

Customer service and consistency chik fila is the king. When I have a Wendy’s chicken sandwich on it’s best day, it clears any sandwich I’ve ever had from chik fila. Chik Fila is low-key evil though.

Want to fix Wendy's, BK, McDonald's, etc. 1) Lower the prices 2) Lower the prices 3) Fix customer service 4) Quit penny pinching - allow free refills, put catsup pump back, dont charge extra for a sauce, etc.

They need to go back to the way they did it back in the 70’s and 80’s, the burgers are DRY and fries are mushy and half cooked.

Wendy's burgers are better than McDonald's, BK and honestly Culver's. Experience is better at Culver's however.

In the seventies wendy's was the best burger out there. i quit going there about 5 years ago.Because the food is always disappointing. And like you said the customer service was horrible

My biggest pet peeve with Wendy's is the wait. I can literally be at the drive thru for over 45 minutes and its not better inside.
