i don’t know how to talk to my dad. i stare at his box of ashes but i avoid talking to him. i love my dad so much & he was everything to me but its been a year & i have no idea how to talk to him & i feel guilty. i think about him all the time

oh girl i get it. :( i have my mommy in a box just like that one on the shelf above my bed and i wear a necklace with her ashes in it everyday. it’s been about 11 years. i know how hard it is. grief is so weird and unfortunately, relationships are complicated even when the person is no longer living.
