Source free wood, build soil with newspaper, hay and compost. Seeds are cheap. It takes time but it is easy to garden for free if you put in the legwork. Use paper towel tubes as seed start pots. Prepare everything the year before.

Built raised beds out of trex decking my yard is such a big hill one side is even with the ground and the other side is almost 4 feet tall was over $300 just to fill them with compost 😂😂😂

I grow most of mine from seeds from stuff I buy at the market. I spend nothing on new plants or materials... I did buy a jalapeno plant that was producing when I bought it for $8 over a year and a half ago. I get about 20 jalapenos a month...

Instead of cutting them pull up on the fruit if it’s snapped off it’s ripe if not, it needs to still stay on there
