People saying it's not rude--notice how she says the milks are on the board but doesn't bother saying they're out of oat milk, setting the customer up for potential failure. When the customer is caught off-guard about that, of COURSE she's going to ask for a recommendation (who knows what else they're out of?) because she's trying to make it easy on the staff. And the syrups being listed in a totally different area from the rest of the menu is probably why she didn't see it so she didn't order it at first but then she started regretting not asking, which led to the next weird interaction. Gen Z acts like we're wasting their time but being PROACTIVE and giving basic service literally would save so much time. "What milks do you have?" "They're on the menu but we're out of oat milk" "ok *looking at other choices* I'll have macadamia then. And is the latte already sweetened?" "No, if you want to add a flavor they're listed right here in front." "Cool, I'll try the lavender syrup." Giving just the slightest effort makes the customer feel more comfortable which TAKES LESS TIME.
