There's a recurring trend in the way the accomplishments of ancient non-European civilizations are discussed and evaluated. Whenever sophisticated structures are identified, there is skepticism about the ability of those civilizations to have achieved such a structure without "alien" technology. Why is it so difficult to acknowledge that these societies possessed advanced tools, knowledge, and highly developed skills many of which may have been lost over time. Give those ancient sci-fi movies a rest.

Do you really wanna know? They still have the tools to do this! WE still have the tools to do this but no one taps into it. We were once a civilization that harmonized with the Earth, each other, and the universe. Then something happened I don't know what but people were able to force labor on others for goods and exchanged labor for products. THAT'S when it changed We no longer have time to tap into this potential because we are suppressed by the system.
