I find that it helps when I sherpa to have the team do a "dry run" where I just explain mechanics as we go, no real intent to complete the encounter. Explain what we're doing as we see it. Show the wipe mechanic once or twice, then go for a real attempt once everyone's on board.

Facts as a Titan main unless I need it explained to myself I lose interest quick and am prone to shoulder checking g other players of maps or in to the room to force start a dry run

Honestly some people aren’t meant for raids and that’s okay, I had someone struggle with depositing chronons. Another who couldn’t count 1-5 left to right, another who said he didn’t know how to add clear because we didn’t explain it properly.

As a Sherpa to friends with a wide range of skill, I usually explain the basics so they know what to look for, then we run it a few times. Then I ask if they have any questions.
