Literally no one wants to do this. It’s so disrespectful. Do doctors have to do this? Lawyers? postal workers? Chefs? Corporate employees? No. Stop blatanly showing us how much you truly don’t value us and see us as less than.

For whatever reason, I hate hate clapping. I don't love call and response attention letters either, but my students this year love them. I use some of those this year, but you'll never see me clapping unless im at a concert or in church. Must be a trauma response from childhood since this concept is decades old. 🤣
