ok here's a bit of a theory for what imu is what if I'm is a devil Fruit that has transcended past its fruit form and turned into a straight up devil and joyboy was the original nika and was the devil of the sun which when he died he turned into the fruit of gomu gomu no mi and these said devils design their fruits before they die and thats why we see joyboy holding his fruit

been trying to put the pieces together on a theory forever bro, i’m like %100 certain urouge and enel are either related or friends. maybe its cause ive been on the urouge boat for so long now i’m going crazy but it makes sense to me. you look at every villain, outside of magellan, they’re all still in the story, or played a bigger part past their role. enel was the only big villain who’s yet to return. urouge, is the only supernova who’s still yet to be used. and what do they share? skypiean blood. but this is where it gets a little deeper. there’s three types of skypiean blood, birkan, shanda and skypiean. they both share birkan blood. again, wouldn’t be that crazy outside of the fact enel destroyed birka sometime before his introduction, then led his people to the skypiea we knew. that’s like all i have for actual story elements, but there’s a bunch of small things i wanna weave into this. urouge was the only supernova capable of beating a pacifista pre timeskip, urouge has an uncanny smile legit %95 of the time, similarly to luffy in that fashion, enel not having wings isn’t a disproval cause he replaced them with the drums. only thing i’m having a hard time imagining here is not mentioning buccaneers. urouge kinda bears a similarity to kuma, but by all means he could be a birkan buccaneer mix, which would be honestly even crazier. or he could just be a bully lunarian i suppose. either way, just some food for thought

I feel like that has to be Enel’s arch in the mural not Uranus. It’s literally a flying boat shooting lightning that could be interpreted as having descended from the moon since something that looks like the moon is right above it

I think a soft confirm of the abyss being the passageway is revealed in the anime when, for a split second, we see St. Saturn skittering through the darkness on solid ground after disappearing from his room, but before exploding from his summoning circle
