This might be a different thing, but your two statements made me think of them as a statement and an explanation of that statement. And for me it went like "there's a lot of confusion/unpredictability in my life right now". And the answer came as "It's because you werent listening... that life is indeed unpredictable, it's only the kind that craves stability that puts you in a delusion of predictability"
