I answer what I know and read from the lore: 1. The moon is corrupted by hollows that spawn on the moon. Hollow can spawn in air space or in this case also on the moon, not just land and water. As an example, the hive lord aka the hollow that blocks the sun (but not on the sun, it is like it is so big on air that it's blocked the sunlight). it's the hollow that Lady Sunbringer destroyed. 2. Billy is not a half human cyborg. he is a full on combat unit robot that was built on the old civilization like Qing Yi but rather Qing Yi is an Ai construct in a robo body while Billy just an advanced combat robot that has sentient conscious. bare in mind new Eridu is a downgrade of technology than Eridu and old civilization so, makes sense that it can build Billy and Qing Yi. Billy was conscious when he found he was abandoned at the outer ring and you know the rest of it.

I can say some tho. 1) The zzz's moon looking like that because in the past there's a big ahh hollow, the biggest hollow exits. It was so big that it covered the sun, even hollow 0 is smaller than it. That moon hollow was soon defeated by one of the 7 voidhunter lady sunbringer. 7) Billy is not a cyborg, he's a full battle machine. We only know that he is able to craft and re-do his engine. Making his engine kit is top tier. He was sold back in the day to the son of calydon, he was their "undefeated champion" before leaving the team and got replaced by lighter. 8) The bringer we saw is working under the Exaltists, a cult that workshiping the exitence of Hollow and Ethereal, so their "Creator" likely was the one who behind all of these apocalypse thing. 10) It was comfirmed that in the hoshimi household, all the generation fully rely on their curse sword to became strong warrior, but not strong enough to be a voidhunter level. Only the third generation and miyabi were built different, they also the only voidhunter in the Hoshimi family. that's all I knew bruhhhhh

The silver squad lore was explained in Silver Anby trailer/teaser? literally they all trained but because they needed just one, they were searching the best, and that was Anby. To prove loyalty one time, they made her k*ll herself, and when again to prove it was to k*ll soldier 11 but she did what he did before to save her. that's why they're the last ones (Well, more after the twiggy event)

billy was called a cyborg during beta, that might be where the confusion came from i dunno if that was a translation issue and he was always intended to be a robot, but billy has talked multiple times about how he was built and his first owner and stuff

Billy has always been an android/intelligent construct. That Human version you see was from a CONCEPT DESIGN before they released ZZZ. Even in the story, he's always been a full robot (intelligent construct)

1. It’s a Hollow consuming the Moon, 2&3. Currently Unknown, 4. All of the members are capable of combat, but only S11 and Anby are confirmed as being alive, 5. Hasn’t been confirmed but it’s a popular theory, possibly will get some answers in the 2.2 story, 6. Billy was originally going to be a cyborg but was changed into being fully an Android, 7. The Creator is the entity that the Exaltists worship, 8. We aren’t sure what it looks like entirely, 9. It’s been said that Miyabi’s power so far was all on her own meaning she became a Void Hunter through her own strength, 10. Carole worked in Helios academy and was a mother figure for the siblings, was seemingly abducted by the exaltists and a giant white hand, unknown whether she is alive or dead, 10. Not related to Hugo, and likely has ties to tops, 11. Dead parents, taken in by Khors Belobog not much else is known, 12. Not enough lore on Thirens yet, 13. Orphie is the main person, Magus was added later on although she pushed Orphie around, 14. Sou is technically older but Yanagi is a full grown adult, 15. That’s the ethereal Haru might become but isn’t him, 16. Play the agent story, he manages to slow down the disease with medication but not stop it, 17. We don’t know Qingyi’s story but potentially she was a real person who had her mind uploaded into an android body, 18. Again play the Agent Story, literally answers your question, was originally part of another squad that got wiped out in the fall of Eridu. She is blind, but can still “see” meaning her “sight” isn’t entirely reliant on the visor
