Spicy Tuna Tostones🍣 #Recipe #tostones #spicytuna #spicytunacrispyrice #crispyrice #sushi #FoodTok In a bowl add -3 tablespoons of Kewpie mayo -2 teaspoons of sesame oil -2 tablespoons of Sriracha -1 tablespoon of soy sauce Whisk this together. Then fold in: -1 pound of minced sushi grade tuna -1/3 cup of sliced green onions -2 diced avocados For the tostones, get the greenest plantains you can find. (Unfortunately mine were a little too ripe, so make sure they’re greener than these.) Peel them, and cut them into your preferred size. (Do about 2 inches for larger tostones, or 1 inch for bite sized tostones.) Lightly fry these in oil heated to about 325 degrees on all sides, then press them while they’re warm using the bottom of a cup or bowl, or a tortilla press if you have one. (I pressed these on their side because I wanted them to be larger, but I usually press them round side up and regretted switching it up for this video😅) Then to a bowl add: -1 cup of water -1 tablespoon of minced garlic -the juice from one lime -adobo Dip each tostone into the water mixture, and let them dry on a paper towel. Then fry these up at about 350 degrees until they’re golden brown and let them rest on a cooling rack. Salt immediately after frying. Let them cool, then top each Tostone with the spicy tuna mixture and the creamy Wasabi Cilantro sauce. For the sauce, in a blender add: -2/3 cup kewpie mayo -1 cup fresh cilantro -1 tablespoon of lime juice -wasabi to taste -salt and pepper Enjoy💜
