those days no pads,tampons and so many products as now,nowadays we have lots of products to take care ourselves..no one is going to smell our periods,I pray 365days..My heart knows what exactly I want.If praying make you better and safe go for it .after all it's individual choices..theetu is just for the blood stain not for the person...

But my grand parents said period is dirty blood out from body so we need to respect the god.. After 7 days bath with flower or turmeric clean freshly then only pray and go temples an we still follow this tradition
