The law is not designed to protect children, it's designed to censor information and keep the British public from finding out the horrific things our government is doing. Children do not need to be protected from Wikipedia, but these MPs feel they need to be protected from the truth

16 year olds are allowed to consent, can have a child as a child themselves, can get a job, pay tax, vote, but can't use social media without hefty restrictions and surveillance from the government? it doesn't make sense. it's almost like it's more for control than anything because why is it i can get a job and pay tax but can't access certain things on my phone such due to censorship laws? i can't access anything to do with politics yet i'm able to vote, meaning that people my age may end up just blindly voting as they aren't educated enough because of this restriction. i can't see what's going on outside of the world such as war status abroad because the government 'says so'. it's not for safety. it's for control, censorship and a breach of rights as we no longer have privacy.
