@fitforjannah: Revive what the world forgot Bitter Melon is a forgotten Sunnah remedy for blood sugar, digestion, and parasites praised by Ibn al-Qayyim
Bitter melon isn’t directly mentioned in any authentic hadith, so it’s not a Sunnah remedy in the strict Prophetic sense.
However, it was used in early Islamic medicine and praised by scholars like Ibn al-Qayyim for its healing properties — especially for digestion and detox.
So a more accurate label would be:
“A remedy rooted in Islamic tradition, not directly from the Sunnah.”
Appreciate the support and always aiming to share with sincerity

Abu Bakr Heikkilä Äl-Finländii :
You need proof (Hadeeth) to call it sunnah, and especially to make it an act of worship (revive sunnah, make intention, etc). What Ibn Al-Qayim (may Allaah have mercy upon him) said about medicine doesn't mean it is the sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (Salla-llaahu 'alaihi wa sallam), since Ibn Al-Qayim also learned medicine from the statements of other nations.
