I've had 2 cortisone injections this year. I've been told I've got calcified tendinitis and after an MRI, was told capsulitits. I'm thinking it's just pain caused from menopause

Shoulder pain, particularly frozen shoulder is common in women suffering from perimenopause and menopause due to hormonal changes which affect joint health. Hope it is ok.

Iโm so glad you posted this. I have been in constant pain with my shoulder for about 3 months. I had the injection about eleven days ago and it is no better.

Itโs menopause ! Apparently get frozen shoulder with it ! A got physio and help it great itโs fine now ๐ฅฐ

Inflammation due to post menopause caused significant pain in both of my shoulders. The only thing that relieves it is wearing compression sleeves to bed

Over the last 3 yrs Iโve had both my shoulders replaced because of osteoporosis. Best thing I ever did as all is good now.

How much does the cortisone injections hurt, I broke my collar bone and then developed frozen shoulder, I am now waiting on surgery to try and wake up the muscle's, my injury was on the 7th of January and I have been in pain everyday since ๐ซ๐ซ

HRT can help, replacing oestrogen is sometimes enough for some woman. Mines a frozen elbow - still trying to work out the correct dosage to get rid of the pain.
