if anything. traffic department should look at the amount of children in a bakkie or taxi . they should control the way they drive. bakkies should have steel canopy and safty belts in the back . pick and drop off points should be in place. 40 children in a taxi and 30 in a bakkie shouldn't be allowed. driver must have a proper pdp. and they should be tested every year . start with the basics before they start other inspections.

Government should give the taxi association members a decent chance at working with them in owning the Buses approved for public transport under the Municipality. The private taxi drivers are a disgrace on the roads with little respect to us Commuters on getting to our location in time in a SAFE environment as the driving is terrible with little respect to the rest of the road Users.
