everything but the cheap looking disposable halloween contacts they put him in 😭😭😭 there are so many companies that make gorgeous realistic coloured contacts some companies even make them specifically to go over dark eyes but he spent the movie looking like a new Jasper Cullen 😭

Chris as Johnny was one of my earliest awakenings lmao and even still, I completely agree! Chris is gorgeous but I find Joe to be more attractive and have Johnny’s vibe more. He played him as more than just a pretty face with a cocky attitude. He was more intelligent and loving!

Also, I’d like to point out that Johnny storm in the comics is an egoistic Playboy… so the way how they had Chris Evans play him was absolutely perfect… and the fact that they turn that down in the new movie this doesn’t fit the role…

Evans was perfect for the time the movie was made and for the type of movie that they made, but they leaned too far into the comedic aspect of Johnny and they didn’t really give his character any nuance whereas in this new movie they did and they leaned in into comedy, but in a smart way, and not a slap sticky way
