@craig.meighan: ‘We love Scotland’: Donald Trump opens The New Course in Menie, Aberdeenshire. He thanked Keir Starmer and John Swinney, calling the latter a terrific guy. He said he had to return to Washington today ‘to put out fires all over the world’. He also tried a Sean Connery impression and joked about his buying of the Aberdeenshire golf course not getting off to the best start.
