Original Dragonite didn't have aura. It wasn't designed like that. I'm reality Dragonite was from a different line of Pokemon in gen 1.

ALSO, sorry I forgot to mention. Dragonite is based on a fae/ faerie dragon. It’s not supposed to be intimidating. 😭 Comparing it to Garchomp or Rayquayza is like comparing apples to oranges.

I like it it’s gives more of an cute angelic look and I really think that fits dragonite it’s know to help lost people at sea I feel like a cute mega fits it better than a “cool mega.”

I don’t think aura is the word you’re looking for because Dragonite never had it in the first place. If you’re trying to say the design is just lazy, then pick the words carefully. I also offer this alternative. While I love the mega design, if dragonite’s design is “lazy,” then we have to asp discuss Gardevoir’s, Gallade’s, Altaria’s, Absol’s, Audino’s, and a few others. Many consider them iconic, but they are less designed than Dragonite’s unfortunately. Is it lazy or is it a matter of preference?
