they basically ruined the game. I tried out the new update and hadn’t played in awhile. While game looks better it’s not the same game they took good systems and made them worse for some reason. I had to find a magazine just to cook food and couldn’t find one, terrible system.

the whole survival part gone. looting ruined. crafting changed and ruined. taking away the zombies makes no sense.

for me I hated the removal of learning as you do, the new make it a RPG not a survival game. the wellness removal sucked and made deaths less impactful when removed. I was actually frustrated with the changes to the game because your forced to make decisions on a character build where it used to be just get good and survive

You say you wanna support several play styles but then you take certain play styles away. The crazy thing is every change that they made was basically about their ego. They didn’t fix any of the things the fan base was complaining about, but then added all these things no one asked for.

the first thing that told me the game was slowly making bad changes is the removal of water jars. like fine u can make a dew collector but u drink from a jar and poof, it just disappears so u can't reuse it? that makes no sense

If you buy a game with specific gameplay and features (ya know what typically draws you to the game) and they change that after launch, they should have to at least offer refunds to players that had a product changed on them.

This game was only good in 2014 and went progressively downhill as it was clear they had no game design sense, no long term cohesive vision, and no engineering skill to make a performant and stable game. Under the hood it’s held together by duct tape.

15 year and we got 2.0 and its look like a early access game... 7days dev dont even care about the veterans reviwes whos playd 10k+ hours with the game... Zombies are to smarts, stability system is random, skill system horrible stb stb. After the 1.0 i went back to play Project Zomboid.
