Forge mentioned that the phone ban was a "life-changing experience" for him, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.” ***Taken from Google*** But seriously, we almost never would’ve had the chance to see another ritual ever from Ghost because Tobias (understandably) got tired of seeing the backs of people’s phones instead of fans actually enjoying the show and living in the moment. I’m not totally against phones at concerts, but I can see how as an artist it would be discouraging and disrespectful to see people stare at a screen through the whole thing. This was my first ritual, and I can say that it being the first concert with a phone ban that I’ve been to, (yes I’m Gen Z) that it was still amazing. It’s a night I’ll never forget and I’m actually glad for the phone ban. Everything was felt and heard in the moment and it was still the best concert I’ve ever been to.
