Love creamery (I prefer the one in the Lincoln Park area) and Ursa Minor brewing. Also if you hop over to Superior go check out the waterfalls in Pattison State Park. You won’t regret it!

If you like smoked fish, Russ Kendall’s smoke shop is my FAVORITE!! It’s about 20 mins north of Duluth! Lutsen mountains are also GORGEOUS and not too far from Grand Marais (which is a must do!). A well known hike is Bean and Bear lake in Silver Bay which is lovely! I am a BIG fan of Iona’s Beach over Black Beach, but if you’re already up there it’s lovely too! Have SO much fun the North Shore is MAGIC🩷🩷🩷

You can try the Lake Superior hiking trails! They range from easy to intermediate levels of intensity and the views when you get to some of the peaks are breathtaking taking. Also, you could go kayaking on the Brühl river. About a 30 min drive into Wisconsin, but easy level and tons of fun. A lot of restaurants named, I personally like Fingers Brewhouse. They have delicious wild rice burgers and great fries! Or the Pickwik next door to fitgers. Old timey steakhouse vibes. The pepper burger is so good!!!

In Duluth- Duluth grill has the greatest breakfast n their morning mimosas r the best. Sir Benedict’s for a sandwich - both have outdoor spots. Theres a black sand beach in Silver Bay up from Duluth bc u HAVE to do the Northshore drive!! There’s so much I don’t have enough space!!! Oh to glensheen mansion the outdoor areas r gorg!!! Plus a heiress was murdered the - there’s a book called Will to Murder. Don’t ask questions of staff they will not answer…

Grand Marais is just a little farther up 61. Very cute little town. Dining at Angry Trout Cafe, Voyageur Brewing Company, My Sister’s Place. There was live music on a dog-friendly patio at The Raven’s Nest. World’s Best Donuts. 🍩

Go to Va Bene for sure!!! Make a reservation ahead of time for the solarium. It’s on the lake with a great view. If you like hiking, you need to hit up either Congdon Park (lower half), Chester or Lester Park to get steps in and see waterfalls

Duluth - Alto Pino for dinner, Northern Waters Smokehouse for lunch, Duluth Grill and Sara’s Table for breakfast. Grab coffee and check out the shops in Lincoln Park. Glensheen has live music in the pier on Wednesday nights…
