I lived in Geneva and was looking for an apartment, I met a Mormon couple from Argentina that we’re renting a room, they had moved there a long time ago and became Swiss, they were so happy and wanted me to sign a contract until they found out I wasn’t American as they thought and then they said no. 😅 Somehow they considered people from any other race or country an immigrant but not Americans 😬
