I personally only take the front doors off if my kid who’s in a car seat is in the back…but to each his own

It might be legal , but as a mom I would absolutely never do this on the highway 🤷♂️dirt road driving yes it’s fun for the kids, you cannot convince me that this is not way more dangerous for the kids especially considering 2/3 of parents don’t install car seats correctly. People telling you to mind your own business when it’s about kids safety is nuts

I would be so paranoid that the kids would unbuckle 😬 I know not all kids do it but my paranoia would get the beat of me in this situation.

Yes there’s a roll cage, and just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s safe. If the kid unbuckles then what? 😬

It is legal and yes they are perfectly strapped in but I can imagine all the rocks hitting them and any giving moment they can just unbuckle themselves and then it would become illegal especially if one flies out

It might be legal in Texas to drive a Jeep without doors with kids if they are properly secured in car seats. But saying it’s “no different than having doors” overlooks some valid safety concerns. Without doors, passengers, especially children, are more exposed to flying road debris. In the event of a crash, particularly a side impact, doors can help absorb force and reduce the risk of direct contact with another vehicle. Without them, there's nothing to shield passengers from flying glass, metal, or parts of another car. Even in less severe situations, something as simple as a kicked-up rock or blown tire fragments could hit passengers more easily. Legality aside, it’s reasonable to question whether it’s the safest setup for young riders, even when everything is technically within the rules.

I’m the lawyer👩🏻⚖️: they’re accusing her of being a gossip, but she’s just concerned about the kids — one of them could go flying if they brake or crash. But it’s Texas, so it’s legal 🙆🏻♀️💫
