I agree! Poor Jack has money but he has nothing now. I can’t wait to see how his story goes along. I wanted him to ask Bridget to come with him

I wish Jack would hire the cook to retire and live with him, as his mother figure.

The next day moving out was harsh. He should taken the cook with him! He could have bought a house and hired the cook.

I agree but I think Ada did it to push him. I think he’ll end up being part of high society & they’ll still be around him

Jack absolutely had to move out. He needs to start his new life. He’s also taking a job he doesn’t need but someone else does.

My theory, jack had to move out so he can make other things and marry Marrian. Because Jack and her is not going to happen.

It doesn’t matter if he’s rich he’s not a magician he can’t just create a life for himself overnight and it isn’t like he’s living in the year 2025 where he can just go online and find himself an Airbnb to stay. There’s a lot more paperwork involved during the Gilded Age and just because he’s rich, doesn’t mean he can make things appear out of thin air even if you have money you still need a little time to get your affairs in order they weren’t really apartment buildings during that time there’s probably like one apartment building called a Dakota built around that time so he would just need to get his affairs in order so he can move to an apartment or even buy a townhouse of his own. But how is he gonna do that in one night? It not like he can call an Uber and I’ll take him to an Airbnb.

But Jack has a ton of money for then so he NEEDED to be persuaded/pushed out the nest. he's worth $25 million by today's standards, he's an influential person in the community now. Go get'em Jack!!!

I do have a small bone to pick with Jack. He knew when he told Marion about the “house of adult affection” that it would upset her. He should have set that all straight, he certainly can not be that daft to think he needed to tell Marion that Larry did not partake. Jack is likely the only person who can redeem Larry.
