Larry is not a degenerate, he has repeatedly demonstrated that he is a considerate, thoughtful, empathetic and pretty progressive person who is completely and thoroughly in love with Marian. He's not about to cheat on her. But he's human and Larry does make mistakes, and he made a pretty big one by going to a brothel the day he got engaged and lying about it to his fiancée. I have no doubt that he'll learn from it and that he and Marian will work it out. All that is to say, Larry is very close to perfect as he's portrayed so far, but he's not actually perfect. That would be unreasonable and boring!

She definitely crashed out, but let’s put it into perspective a bit. She has been played by two men previously before. Larry already started off their engagement on a lie. He said he was going to another place and ended up at a brothel. Her mind spiraling because Jack definitely made it seem worse than what it was. She should def hear him out though.

I can’t say I would end the engagement without a conversation but idk why everyone is acting like that man flat out smooth and easy lying to her about where he was going that night isn’t a huge red flag. He did nothing wrong when at the house of ill repute, but he frequents it and would likely continue and continue to lie about it had she not found out. I like Larry and think Marion is looking for any sign to run due to her past, especially because of her dad’s history. She was working my nerves with how she behaved this episode. It’s an overreaction, but I don’t know why folks are acting like he doesn’t deserve ANY heat for starting their engagement on a bold faced lie.
