I know Jane. I owned a shop in my local town and she used to come in. We got friendly over time and then she casually dropped that she sang the original lyrics!. This just made me like her even more, as the Opus version was huge in my youth, yet she was just so casual about it. I don’t think she realised how much she had inadvertently impacted an entire generation 😁
