I saw in my local FB group a woman complain that her stylist went up to $25 for a Hc/bd on long hair. She wanted to know what everyone paid so she could leave her and said do not respond if you’re a hairstylist. We are in an affluent area. I just said well for some people we will never be cheap enough. I’m considered very reasonable at $85 here and her comment section restored my faith in clients. The girls were all glowing that they are happy to pay hundreds for their services 💜

I had someone who came in and asked how much it was for a cut, told her how much and said I can get it cheaper at a salon up the street and without thinking I said you’re more than welcome to go there, she left then came back and was gobsmacked i was busy 🤣
