I have been reading too that you should do more on symptoms than bloodwork. My midwife said if a dr/midwife dismisses your perimenopause symptoms, find a new provider. Check out midihealth. My coworker has raved about them and they take insurance as well if I remember correctly.

I was so close to getting what I asked for…my doctor will not prescribe bio identical/micronised progesterone, only synthetic because it’s a compound. I am so deflated and irritated. Every specialist I see says they would never prescribe synthetic progestin. So I’m giving up on it for now because the side effects look like a nightmare.

wild yam cream! it will balance out all the hormones! your hormones fluctuate all day so a blood test to me is useless.

All the other checks are probably separate appointments for ALL of them So silly I had a hysterectomy at 34 I have one ovary. Everything seems weird.
