I hear you, and I want that too. But the reality is that real unity isn’t possible until we (our government) address and atone for the original sins this country was built on. If we keep trying to fix the symptoms without healing the root, racism, classism, anti-Blackness, we’ll stay stuck in the same cycle unfortunately, having the same painful conversations for years to come. ✌✌✌
