I only used arch because I'm a hobbyist tbh it's too high maintenance like wdym one wrong config file can brick your arch install

arch singlehandedly reducing the Linux market share by 1 - 2% alone cuz people switch to it trusting all the glazing online then it's so unstable it just makes them like windows more. this is coming from an arch user and id never tell a beginner to start w arch

My hate for arch is immense the damage it has done to public perception of linux is indiscribable . Ive tried to help some friends whos windows doesnt work anymore switch to linux and they dont trust the most stable distros because of the rep of arch

tbh use whatever distro u wanna every distro has it advantages like AUR from arch, lightweightness from Void, Alpine, Arch and LFS, the many packages from debian/Ubuntu etc every distro has it advantages

i bust like using arch based systems my first distro was ubuntu but havent felt good to use (my opinion) then my friend forced me to install arch and ive never switched really
