Franco is an excellent driver, not a magician. What can he do with that car that doesn't give any more? It Even seems like the mechanics are kidding him. That car is all he can do. And his engineer doesn't help him with strategies.

Can’t believe they are trying the ‘it’s the car’ excuse when gasly is having an incredible season. Colapinto just ain’t that good, neither was doohan. Just hope alpine bring in a good 2nd driver. Yuki would be my choice if Red Bull do part ways with him

Franco is no worse than Yuki or Sainz. He'll do fine. He is a good driver in a bad car with no experience and adaptation problems, yet no worse than Doohan.
